Hollywood Studios Frozen Premium Package

On July 19, 2014 my husband and I had a fanstastic opptournity to go to the new frozen event at Disney's Hollywood Studios. We purchased the Premium VIP Package for $53 per adult. I have since been told that all of these packages were sold out! However, there is only a 24 hour cancelation period, so if you want to book this package, keep trying!

We arrived at the park at about 9:45 am and went straight to the Frozen Premium Package check-in location that we were told was at Min and Bill's Dockside Dinner, the location was however across the street, but there were plenty of signs pointing the correct way! Upon checking in we both received a lanyard (pictured below) and we were asked to select our return time for the Frozen Sing a Long. The first showing was already full, even though we checked in right at 10 am when we were told that check in opens. Anyways, we were able to get into the 1:30 showing.

They had a whole area roped off for the Premium Package holders with a perfect view of the stage and great viewing for the parade. There was also refreshments including: ice cream, soda, and frozen lemonade. They wanted to make sure that everyone could see so they had a small section at the front taped off and if you had a child, the parent and the children could SIT to watch the parade. The key word being sit. If you didn't have a child you could stand anywhere else! This allowed for great viewing for everyone! Hubby and I were able to stand right behind where everyone was sitting, so it was really a great spot! The following photos are of the actual parade!

As Kristoff's float came up they asked everyone to stand so that they could open the rope to allow the Premium Package Holders to go right up to the stage to see the welcome ceremony.

Olaf appeared on the big screen! Then Elsa and Anna lead the crowd in a sing a long of let it go complete with falling snow!
When the welcome ceremony was over we headed over to Oaken's Trading Post. We went in to build a snowman but were happily surprised that they were having an ice skating show! Two wonderful skaters did a dance to the songs from frozen.

After we went straight to the area to build a snowman. Good thing too, because moments after we got in line the line became huge! They were letting groups of about 20 -25 in for 10 minuets to play in the snow. We only waited about 10 minuets in line, so it wasn't too bad. But it would be my guess that the line was over an hour long by the time we got in to play. And after many failed attempts I built a tiny snowman!
We didn't go ice skating but everyone seemed like they were having fun! It was $10 for 30 mins and included skate and helmet rental. Yes! They made everyone wear a helmet. By the ice skating rink was a little place to by snacks. They had an Anna cupcake, Elsa cupcake, and Olaf cupcake for around $6. They also had a souvenir Olaf cup with blue slushie for $10. I purchased the Olaf cup and was surprised at how delicious the slushie was!
We headed into the store area of Oken's next. They had a lot of merchandise. Here is a lost of what I can remember:
Anna and Elsa Animator Dolls
Figurine sets
phone cases
topsy turvy plush
Elsa coronation mug
lithographs
Anna and Elsa Costumes
shirts
snacks
Anna and Elsa Magic Bands
pens
pressed penny machine
trading pins
I did get the Elsa, Anna and Olaf pressed pennys. The magic bands were cute, but in my opinion since I already have a magic band they were not worth the $20. I did pick up the Elsa coronation mug and the OE Elsa and Anna pins though.

After all that fun we had lunch and headed over to the sing a long. There were already people in the Premium Package line when we got there. But not too many, and they had several big umbrellas up to keep us somewhat cool. Once we were inside the theater they sat us in the third row, and there was no one in front of us except for people in wheelchairs, so the view was amazing!
I was a bit worried that the sing a long was going to be cheesy, but  how they handled it was great. It is narrated  by two Arandelle historians that that are telling the story of Elsa and Anna through "the songs of the land" Blow you can find the photos and a short video I took.

The Sing a Long was a total blast, I really enjoyed it. Afterwards we did some rides, and had dinner before heading over to the dessert party. The photo below is the area they had set up for the Premium Package holders before anyone was allowed in. I thought it was really beautiful.

The dessert party was scheduled to start at 8pm, but they didn't allow us in until almost 8:40.  They had tall tables in the back and shorter ones in the front for children.  Hubby and I grabbed a table and I headed off to get food! The selection was amazing!

We were in the same spot as for the parade, so the view of the stage was still awesome! There was an 80's cover band playing called The Icemen and The Lady of the North. They were pretty good, and very funny.

In between sets from the band, there was a Dj playing. DJ Chill, and I really loved him. He played a lot of good songs and was really good at keeping the energy going!

The night concluded with the Frozen fireworks! They were really amazing!

I really loved the Frozen event to Hollywood Studios, and I really do think it was worth the money for the premium package. Have any of you been? Let me know what you thought in the comments.

17'' Rapunzel

My 17'' Rapunzel Review

I finally got my beloved Purple Rapunzel! She is so breathtaking in person! I got her for a very, very good price on amazon, so don't forget to check there if you are looking for her!
Her still in the box, I love the design of the box, as it looks very elegant and you can see the doll very well.

With the plastic off you can see the different fabrics that make up her dress. I know that the dress needed to be held down but I don't care for the look of the plastic tabs holding her dress to the bottom of the box.

She has a very beautiful face and I actually love the rooted eyelashes. Her hair is very, very soft despite the gold strands, the only part that is not so soft is where they tried to pull her hair over, there is a lot of product here. In the photo above its above her right eye.

The collar of her dress is so pretty, and I adore the lacing around the front.

A close up of her torso.

This is my favorite part of the doll, I just adore the corset lace up the front! I also really like the pattern of the fabric and the rhinestones.

The top of her sleeves are very poofy and super cute! It matches her character design perfectly.

The sleeve itself is actually two layers, the top being the rippled shinny fabric. Then they are lined with a sheer pink fabric edged in lace.

A close up of her skirt.

Her brush is very pretty, but I still think she should have been holding a Frying pan!

The pattern and rhinestones on the inner part of her skirt. I love that you can see the flowers from the film in the design!

The chiffon overlay of her skirt is stunning!!! The details here are what makes the doll so wonderful! I also really like the little bead at the end of the bow that ties her corset.

Her feet and the bottom of her hair. I was a little disappointed here, I wish that they would have made her hair longer and draped it over the bottom of the box to give the illusion that it was endless. but over all very cute.

The doll and her COA. I was pretty happy to get such a low number.

This is my favorite doll that I own, I highly recommend getting her if your debating it, you wont regret it.

Passholder Magic Bands Unboxing

Passholder Magic Bands Unboxing

I have been a WDW passholder for 2 years and today I am so excited to say that I received my Magic Bands. My husband and I got to test these out a few months ago when we stayed on Disney property and we absolutely loved them!! When we originally stayed on property we had the "default" grey bands, so I was so excited to customize our passholder bands.

This is how the box looked when you open it up. I like that it says PASSHOLDER on the front unlike when you order bands when staying on property.

The top of the box.

The side of the box.

I love how the bands are displayed in the box and how personal they feel. I forgot to photograph it but the names that are under the bands in this photo are also printed on the inside of the band itself. My husbands is on the left and mine on the right. I'm so glad they had pink!!

This charm was stuck under my band, it slides on to your band and is such a cute way to tell everyone that your a passholder! I was initially a little upset because there was only one but after shaking the box a bit I found there was another stuck inside.

After taking the top part of the box with the bands off.

The paperwork that is inside. I love how its stored in this cute envelope!

Apparently these are cards that you have to carry in addition to your Band AND Pass? I'm a little confused as to why you have to bring all three, I get that you have to have a card to get discounts so that cast members can actually see that your a passholder, but why these AND your preexisting cards? I'll ask this weekend when I'm at the park and update everyone then.

The box dissembled.

I'm am so super excited to have gotten my Magic Bands and I can't wait to use them on our next trip to WDW. I hope you all enjoyed this unboxing and as always, don't forget to follow me on facebook!!
